The Department of Nursing at St. Catherine University invites applications for a 0.5 FTE, one-year, 9/12 month rolling contract ranked faculty position. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
The faculty member is accountable for student learning in the Department of Nursing by fulfilling responsibilities that contribute to the achievement of student learning and program outcomes. These responsibilities and outcomes are related to each of the Department of Nursing standards; congruent with professional, academic, and accreditation standards in nursing; and consistent with St. Catherine University and Department of Nursing standards for faculty assessment and evaluation. The faculty member’s responsibilities will be to teach courses and advise students in the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program of study.
Applicants should demonstrate excellence in teaching and a commitment to university service. The selected candidate will be responsible for advising graduate nursing students and is expected to engage in service activities with colleagues, the department, school, campus, community and professional organizations.

• Master’s degree in nursing, doctoral degree preferred.
• Licensed registered nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, with 3-5 years of clinical experience. Applicants with certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner who have gerontology experience will be considered.
• Teaching experience is desirable.
