The Lansing School of Nursing and Health Science offers the following undergraduate nursing programs: 4-year traditional, 1-year accelerated second degree. The graduate nursing programs include: MSN in Nursing Administration, Nursing Education and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Additionally, two interdisciplinary degrees are offered: a Masters’s degree in Health Sciences (online) and a PhD in Health Professions Education. Job Description:
The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences (https://www.bellarmine.edu/lansing/nursing/) of Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month tenure track appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The position is available for start as of June 1, 2019. Responsibilities will include both graduate and undergraduate nursing classroom, clinical and/or practicum teaching with opportunities available for interdisciplinary courses. Graduate teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical/practice teaching in the FNP program. Undergraduate teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical teaching in a variety of areas. An active research/scholarship trajectory is expected. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference is given to applicants who have a FNP and doctoral degree requirements.

• Required: Master’s degree in nursing, with a doctoral degree strongly preferred. Doctoral degree required for tenure track, ranked appointment
• Required: License to practice nursing in Kentucky or ability to obtain such licensing if hired
• Required: Licensed as Family Nurse Practitioner
• Preferred: Experience teaching in higher education
• Preferred: Ongoing research/scholarship
