‘Tis the season of thanks and giving. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Cardinal Health, a Fortune 22 company helping pharmacies, hospitals and ambulatory care sites focus on patient care, launched a new campaign to thank nurses for their contributions to the health care industry. Through RNspire, a nurse appreciation program hosted on Facebook, fans are encouraged to share ‘Thank You Notes’ to show their appreciation to family, friends and colleagues.

Launched on Nov. 10, fans can celebrate the spirit of giving while sharing these cards, as the Cardinal Health Foundation will donate $2,500 to the disaster relief organization, AmeriCares when 250 cards are shared – or up to $5,000 for 500 notes shared.

Choose one of 10 different cards to thank someone special and know that you’re bringing a smile to their face this holiday season, while also making a difference by supporting AmeriCares. The campaign runs until Nov. 30.

RNspire is a nurse appreciation program that is dedicated to informing, inspiring and recognizing the nursing community. So far, the RNspire Facebook page has garnered more than 13,000 Facebook ‘likes’ and hosted two successful contests since its launch in May 2014. This page continues to serve as a platform to celebrate nurses. For more information, visit the RNspire Facebook page.
