Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln, Maine is a non-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, located in the beautiful northern Maine landscape and surrounded by more than a dozen lakes, ponds, and streams for great outdoor recreation. Our facility is centered in a quiet, friendly community that is less than an hour from the state’s flagship university and vast shopping centers.

PVH has new surgical wing and has recently renovated our waiting rooms and maternity suites. More plans are in store for our Emergency Department and other areas of the facility.

PVH has several career opportunities for Emergency Nurses:

Emergency Nurses–Positions include day and night positions, full time and per-diem. Our Emergency Department features the ability to handle cases of high acuity. Also, this department features the only hospital in Maine that has nurses who work on the ambulance crew. Nurses are not required to work on the ambulance team, but the opportunity is available at Penobscot Valley Hospital.
