These two new tenure-track faculty positions seek to expand critical areas of research for the school. Candidates of particular interest will demonstrate experience leading research programs in symptom science or palliative care, injury prevention, population health, social determinants of health, applied informatics, or policy and health systems leadership.
Applicants must:
• possess a PhD in nursing or a related field
• be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Wisconsin
• have at least 3 years of combined education and experience conducting research (postdoctoral training preferred) and offer a record of research publication
• have at least 1 year of experience or combined education and experience in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in nursing or a health-related field

KAREN FRICK PRIDHAM PROFESSORSHIP IN PEDIATRIC NURSING – PVL 90052

This new position will continue the School’s commitment to advancing research, education and leadership in pediatrics. The position offers collaborative opportunities with American Family Children’s Hospital. The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of externally funded, published research; a focus of children with complex, chronic conditions is desirable. The position will also contribute to teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs, and through mentoring of doctoral students.

• possess a PhD in nursing or a related field
• be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Wisconsin
• have at least 5 years of experience conducting research related to pediatrics and offer a record of research publication
• have taught for at least 3 years at the undergraduate or nursing level in nursing or a health-related field
