The College of St. Scholastica is seeking to fill three undergraduate faculty positions preparing students for entry level generalist practice. Positions begin August 2014. Candidates will collaborate, contribute to and participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of college diversity goals.
Traditional Undergraduate Nursing Faculty
Nine-month faculty position in the traditional nursing program with expertise in community health nursing. Teaching responsibilities in classroom and diverse community health settings. This position includes professional activity and college and community service requirements. Simulation lab experience is desirable.
Post-Baccalaureate Undergraduate Nursing Faculty
Ten-month faculty position in the post-baccalaureate nursing program with expertise in medical-surgical nursing. Teaching responsibilities with adult learners in an accelerated program in clinical, classroom, and skills/simulation lab. Responsibilities include professional activity and college and community service.
RN to BS Undergraduate Nursing Faculty
Nine-month faculty position in the RN to BS program with expertise in online teaching. Responsibilities include professional activity and college and community service.
Required: Master’s Degree in nursing. Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency. Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse students, faculty and staff.
Preferred: Doctoral degree in nursing or related field. Excellent verbal, written, and IT communication skills. Teaching and professional experience preferred.
