Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor, Nursing
College of Health Professions

The College of Health Professions at Towson University invites applications for established scholars and clinicians and promising faculty applicants for five tenure-track or clinical 10-month Assistant or Associate positions beginning August 2017. The Department of Nursing is one of six departments in the College of Health Professions and offers CCNE accredited traditional undergraduate baccalaureate degrees; innovative dual enrollment and degree completion options for RN students, as well as master’s degrees in nursing with a focus in education or administration at the graduate level. Research or practice doctorate and master’s degree in nursing with expertise in a respective specialty area is required. ABD candidates considered, but appointment will be at the Instructor rank and all degree requirements must be completed by February 1, 2018. Candidates for tenure-track must demonstrate evidence of a program of research eligible for external funding. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland is required. Two years of recent experience in teaching and/or practice related to the candidate’s clinical specialty is preferred.
