Instructor in Nursing (Medical-Surgical)

The College of Nursing seeks applicants for an instructor position in the undergraduate program at University Park Campus. This full-time, benefits eligible appointment is for one year or multi-years. The person in this position will be expected to teach Fall and Spring semesters with a start date in August 2017. Primary responsibilities will include instruction in medical-surgical health in a variety of settings including simulation, clinical and classroom teaching. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include advising students and participating in program activities and committees.  The successful candidate must have earned a Doctorate degree (or made significant progress in a current Doctorate program), a Master`s degree in Nursing, and have a current Pennsylvania RN license (or eligible for obtaining one prior to start of appointment date). We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
