The University of Houston-Victoria School of Nursing seeks a qualified applicant with certification as a
family nurse practitioner, for a part time Clinical Track position beginning August 2014.
Faculty responsibilities include: ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; classroom and clinical instruction using on-site, simulation, and distance education strategies; some travel; participation in school and university committees; engaging in scholarship, service and academic advising.
- Doctorate or substantial progress toward doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. *
- Master’s degree in nursing from accredited school of nursing.
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- Candidate must possess or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
- Minimum 2 years advanced practice experience.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Teaching experience preferred.
