Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Assistant or Associate Professor
Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, invites applications for a 12 month, full-time, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in our Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in nursing or related field and be nationally certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. The candidate must have evidence of recent clinical practice, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Teaching experience at the graduate level is preferred. The candidate will need to remain active in clinical practice.
The candidate must have a current unencumbered licensure as an RN and APRN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
Faculty responsibilities will include classroom instruction, clinical teaching/supervision of students, curriculum planning and development, facilitating development of clinical sites for preceptor experiences, and academic and scholarly project advising. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the flexibility to teach collaboratively across the curriculum are desired. Pursuit of scholarly and service activity is necessary for professional standing and advancement.
Rank and salary are commensurate with academic and clinical experience.
