Kingsport Family Practice Residency Program – Family Medicine – COM

Position is located at ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport. Provides advanced practice primary care in compliance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act; demonstrates a commitment to compassionate patient care to diverse populations; responsible to the Medical Director for the
management/oversight of the clinical staff and clinical area; serves as a vital team member within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH); develops clinical policies and procedures in cooperation with Medical Director; other related administrative duties as assigned.

Required qualifications: Master’s degree in nursing with national certification, preparation in advanced practice nursing (FNP), 2 years of supervisory experience (in lieu of supervisory
experience, a highly qualified candidate with 2 years of leadership experience may be considered), certificate of fitness to prescribe, current unencumbered license as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Tennessee or compact state.

Preferred qualifications: Experience in an ambulatory care setting, experience with electronic health records (especially Allscripts)
