Located on the campus of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children’s Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art, nine story, 165-bed facility designed exclusively for the special health care needs of children. Randall Children’s Hospital receives nearly 100,000 patient visits every year and is Oregon’s largest provider of pediatric inpatient and trauma services.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager who will provide leadership to the Pediatric Support Services teams at Randall Children’s Hospital. Some of the responsibilities include oversight of the Child Life Department, Art Therapy Department, Randall Children’s Hospital School Program, online education, develop and maintain pediatric clinical standards and others.
We are seeking a clinical leader who has experience in program development, pediatric nursing, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with staff, other departments, physicians, management and other customers.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; MSN, MN or Master’s in a related field preferred.
- Current Oregon RN licensure or eligibility.
- Have a minimum of three years in a clinical nursing leadership role; pediatric nursing strongly preferred.
- Have exceptional communication and people skills.
- Have experience in program development and innovation.
