The College of Nursing at Georgia Regents University is seeking experienced nursing professionals to join their faculty and help shape the next generation of nurses. The College has a great opportunity available for a certified registered nurse anesthetist, a twelve-month faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor
(rank will be commensurate with experience).
Applicants should possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the instruction and delivery of safe and competent anesthesia care. They also should desire work that advances the education mission through progressive, successful mastery of teaching skills along with the development of a program of scholarship.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited nurse anesthesia program,
with demonstrated interest in doctoral studies if not already obtained
- Current certification/recertification from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Clinical experience and demonstrated ability to competently function as a CRNA
- Licensure (or eligibility for) as a registered nurse in Georgia with recognition by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an advanced practice nurse.
