Indiana University Southeast, one of eight campuses of Indiana University, is seeking dynamic and innovative educators to fill a faculty position in the School of Nursing. Located in historic New Albany, Indiana, our beautiful 180-acre campus is only 10 minutes from vibrant, downtown Louisville, Kentucky. IU Southeast serves over 6,000 students enrolled in more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The campus has experienced significant growth over the last 10 years, as evidenced by the construction of a new library, five residence halls and a state of the art learning laboratory in the School of Nursing. It is an exciting time of growth and change at IU Southeast, and new faculty will be joining a community committed to providing high quality education and lifetime growth opportunities for students primarily from Southern Indiana and the Greater Louisville region.

Baccalaureate undergraduate and RN-BSN programs at IU Southeast have an outstanding reputation in the region and are accredited by the CCNE through 2020. Graduate programs in nursing leadership and nursing education were recently approved and began in fall of 2017.
We invite applications for Assistant Professor of Nursing for which an earned Doctorate degree in addition to an MSN and ability to be licensed as a registered nurse in Indiana are required.
Preferred candidates will also possess:
• Established record of excellence in teaching, scholarly achievement and service appropriate to rank and faculty appointment.
• Record of collegiality, innovation and creative teaching initiatives in time of change and growth.
• Experience in simulation and online teaching

An earned Doctorate degree is required in addition to an MSN. Teaching experience in a nursing graduate program is strongly preferred. The assignment will include six credits per semester of instruction with our MSN program that includes an Administrative and Educator track. In addition, course development of graduate level electives and assistance with the admission process may be requested. Experience with online, hybrid and face-to-face methods is beneficial.
