Indiana University Southeast, one of eight campuses of Indiana University, is seeking dynamic and innovative educator to fill a position in the School of Nursing. Located in historic New Albany, Indiana, our beautiful 180-acre campus is only 10 minutes from vibrant, downtown Louisville, Kentucky. IU Southeast serves over 6,000 students enrolled in more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The campus has experienced significant growth over the last 10 years, as evidenced by the construction of a new library, five residence halls and a state of the art learning laboratory in the School of Nursing. It is an exciting time of growth and change at IU Southeast, and new faculty will be joining a community committed to providing high quality education and lifetime growth opportunities for students primarily from Southern Indiana and the Greater Louisville region.

Baccalaureate undergraduate and RN-BSN programs at IU Southeast have an outstanding reputation in the region and are accredited by the CCNE through 2020. Graduate programs in nursing leadership and nursing education were recently approved and will begin in fall of 2017.

We are inviting applications for full-time Assistant Professor- Tenure Tract.

Preferred candidates for the Tenure Tract Position will possess:
Earned doctoral degree in nursing or related field (ABD status will be considered)
• Established record of excellence in teaching, scholarship and service appropriate to rank and faculty appointment.
• Record of innovation and creative teaching initiatives (i.e. simulation and online teaching) in time of change and growth.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to be licensed as a registered nurse in Indiana required
