The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing invites applications from skilled, enthusiastic, and innovative nurse educators for 1 to 3 clinical faculty positions to teach in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs begin January 8, 2016. All positions require a Wisconsin license as a registered nurse and a graduate degree in nursing; the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing is strongly preferred. College-level teaching experience is preferred. Two years of clinical health care experience are required. Clinical experience and certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner are required for Position # 84157. Responsibilities under Position #84154 include undergraduate course instruction in active learning environments on topics including systematic investigation (research) and organizational influences on nursing practice. Responsibilities under Position #84086 include supervision of scholarly projects undertaken by DNP students and graduate level course instruction related to health program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement. Responsibilities under Position #84157 include course instruction and clinical supervision at the graduate and undergraduate levels in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
School, university and professional service is also expected.
