As an integral part of a research-intensive private university, ‘in the public service,’ NYU College of Nursing’s mission is to generate new knowledge and educate future nursing professionals who, in turn, demonstrate the standards of excellence in research, education and practice for a global society.

NYU College of Nursing has several exciting faculty opportunities that are part of an ambitious strategic plan to expand the College’s full-time faculty and to build a new state-of-the-art nursing facility:


CLINICAL-TRACK FACULTY – who are leaders in undergraduate and/or graduate nursing education (special interest in those who are prepared to teach in more than one clinical area and those with experience in maternity and/or midwifery). Applicants must have an earned doctorate in nursing or related field. A demonstrated record of effective teaching and scholarship, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team, are required. Positions are 12-month, with appointment and salary commensurate with experience.


CLINICAL OR TENURE-TRACK FACULTY – who have expertise on education research (simulation, on-line, design, innovation)/program evaluation, as well as those individuals who have high-level informatics skills.
