Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.Responsibilities:Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.|Develops, implements and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.|Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.|Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs, including preceptor programs.

Additional Education Info: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree preferred.|Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 3 years of RN clinical experience required. Previous education experience preferred.|3 years of RN clinical experience required. Previous education experience preferred.

Graduate Medical Education

St. John Providence Graduate Medical Education is affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan State Osteopathic School of Medicine, and multiple medical schools outside the state. It is the third largest graduate medical education program in Michigan. Residency and fellowship programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, American Osteopathic Association, Council on Podiatric Medical Education, and Commission on Dental Accreditation. St. John Providence is the only health system in Michigan to have all four graduate medical education programs: Allopathic, Osteopathic, Podiatric, and Dental (advanced dental, periodontology, oral surgery). The St. John Providence - Osteopathic Division is the nation's largest program accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.
