The successful candidate will be expected to teach theory and clinical courses in the Department of Nursing and to actively participate in the shared governance of the Department. Responsibilities will also include curricular review and development, review and evaluations of students’ applications, student advisement, and in program’s assessment and evaluation. Faculty must meet licensure and other agency requirements for clinical instruction of students. In addition, the appointee will be responsible for demonstration of appropriate scholarship, professional activity, and service to the University and community. For purposes of reappointment, emphasis will be placed on teaching effectiveness, scholarship and contributions to the field, and service to the University and community.
