Clinical Assistant Professor

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a clinical Assistant Professor faculty position. Applicant must have a practice focus and evidence of clinical scholarship.
This 12-month non-tenure track clinical position will involve teaching, practice-focused research and scholarly activities, and the opportunity for clinical practice. Responsibilities will include coordinating the NP concentration for approximately 75 students, curriculum development, teaching specialty coursework on-campus and/or online and supervising students in clinical placements with preceptors. Minimum qualifications include a doctorate in nursing practice from an accredited institution, national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Health Practitioner with gerontology and acute care experience preferred, a master’s degree in nursing, and eligibility to obtain a North Carolina RN license.
