Brewster Place is a faith-based, mission-driven, not-for-profit organization with a distinguished history and unparalleled reputation for excellence.  Founded by four Topeka Congregational churches in 1959 and named after Elder William Brewster, a Pilgrim colonial leader who came to America on the Mayflower, we welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds.  We are a continuing care retirement community offereing maintenance-free independent senior living in town homes, cottages, and spacious apartments; catered living in spacious apartments with a higher level of retirement livings services, assisted living for Topeka seniors who just need a little help during the day; short-term rehabilitation to help patients recover from surgery or stroke and get back home as soon as possible, home care through Brewster at Home, and skilled nursing care for seniors needing round-the-clock care.
