Job Overview

Assists the Director in managing the strategic development, growth and retention, and day-to-day operations of the activities related to The Joint Commission Certification programs.  Identifies and assists new and existing customers in the decision process to pursue Disease Specific Care (“DSC”) certification.  Supports the Certification Strategic Business Unit and other internal work groups.


Master’s degree preferred.  Seven to ten years of broad clinical nursing experience, preferably in a variety of clinical areas.  Management experience within a specific clinical program.  Proven track record in sales, business development and/or customer relations/account management.  Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to produce proposals, reports, and presentations.  Strong public speaking skills and able to organize and respond to complex information.  Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.  Must be able to travel up to 50%.
