The College of Nursing is seeking to fill several clinical-track faculty positions that will contribute to the teaching and research mission of the University of Cincinnati. The College looks to propel itself into the forefront of nursing education and research. The College is committed to advancing national and international standing with a focus on strengthening the College’s research enterprise and offering innovative education.
We are seeking individuals who have expertise in the following areas: Community Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Neonatal and Mental Health.
Teach didactic courses and clinical experiences in the graduate and undergraduate programs.
Participate in College and University committees.
Commit to diversity and scholarly excellence.
On a Full-time limited basis the Clinical Faculty Member’s primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and/or teaching and program development in the clinical sciences. May also contribute to clinical research, the scholarly and service missions of the university, administrative service, and other educational activities, expectations for which may be described in letters of appointment and in their unit reappointment and promotion criteria.

The College is highly committed to excellence in teaching and research. The BS and MS nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The MS and Doctorate of Nursing Practice programs focus on variety of Advanced Nursing areas. The MSN online program is ranked #6 by U.S. News & World Report.
Minimum Qualifications: Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior clinical and teaching experience.
Position Qualification: Clinical expertise in their area of specialty and meet the needs of the College of Nursing. At least 2 years’ experience in the practice of Nursing as a registered nurse. Must have active unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio. Must be MSN prepared. Clinical teaching experience in higher education is preferred. Experience in teaching clinical, didactic and online courses preferred. Preference will be given to DNP and PhD prepared applicants.
