We are seeking a masters-prepared certified registered nurse anesthetist with exceptionally strong practice experience, evidence of strong teaching and experience evaluating students in higher education, and the desire to be part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary education and research environment. We offer degree programs at the bachelors, masters, CRNA DNP, and PhD levels. Assistant Director, CRNA Program
Duties. This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership for the achievement of academic and administrative excellence in the CRNA Program, and will prepare, teach, and evaluate assigned courses in the program, mentor faculty and students, conduct scholarly activity, and engage in college, university, community, and professional service activities commensurate with the rank of Instructor.
Minimum Requirements. Qualified candidates will possess a master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited institution, two years of practice experience as a CRNA, and prior experience teaching and evaluating students in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications. Experience with technology supported educational methods (online and blended format); demonstrated ability to work effectively with community partners; prior experience in faculty academic administration.
Details. Twelve month non-tenure-earning appointment at 70% FTE (full time equivalency); rank will be at the level of instructor; compensation and start-up package is negotiable.
