This is an advanced program designed to build skills in the most challenging steps of the evidence-based practice process and in creating an organizational infrastructure to support evidence-based health care. Participants will be able to implement, evaluate, and sustain EBP changes in complex health care systems.

This unique program features a highly interactive, small-group focus with individual consultation sessions. Target Audience: Nurse leaders charged with promoting and leading teams in adoption of evidence-based practices. Institute Purpose: To educate nursing leaders to guide colleagues and staff in the integration of evidence-based knowledge into practice. Institute Goals:

  1. To promote advanced skills of nursing leaders in the use of evidence-based practice models.
  2. To develop leadership skills for facilitating completion of clinically relevant evidence-based practice projects.
  3. To foster creative thinking networks and issue resolution in the evidence-based practice process.
