*Nursing Informatics – Candidate must have strong expertise in nursing informatics and health data management. Other clinical specializations in adult, acute, family, or mental health desired. Certification or eligible for certification required. The individual should be experienced in pedagogic modalities used in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Evidence of scholarship in the particular area of expertise is an expectation. PhD or DNP required.
*Leadership and Administration – Candidate must have extensive administrative experience as well as expertise in the following courses: leadership, program planning, capstone and DNP residency. Should also be experienced and certified in, and be able to teach another clinical specialization. The interested individual should be able to demonstrate a research trajectory in the area of specialization. PhD or DNP required.
*Psychiatric/Mental Health – Candidate must be RN licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey, certified in psychiatric and mental health nursing to be able to teach in the undergraduate program, certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in this specialty to be able to teach in the graduate level, and with the commitment to practice with sufficient hours to maintain certification. The applicant’s focused program of scholarship is in an area relevant to nursing science, health, and well-being, with special focus on evidence-based practice and patient safety and quality care. PhD or DNP required.

This position reports directly to the Dean, providing confidential executive level management for the Dean’s Office. In collaboration and support of the Dean, this position is responsible for providing strategic, analytical, and organizational support to develop initiatives which facilitate the strategic mission for growth and advancement of the college. This leadership role provides administrative support for the Dean, support for the College of Nursing Board of Overseers, development activities and the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board. Provides leadership for special projects and activities and supervises the assistant to the Dean, and working in collaboration with supervisors.
Requires a master’s degree in an appropriate academic discipline, business, or higher education administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of academia and current practices in higher education; doctoral degree preferred. Should also have a minimum of three years of experience in an academic, administrative operations, or academic support function that includes development of proposals, planning documents, accountability, or other complex literacy; a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse set of constituents with tact, discretion, and diplomacy. PhD and nursing background preferred.
